Breeze blocks are decorative, non-load-bearing units, not structural masonry or fall-protection barriers. These recommendations are not engineering approvals. A qualified design professional must specify maximum wall dimensions, foundation, wind and lateral-load resistance, reinforcement, anchorage, movement joints, and local-code compliance. Do not install in freeze–thaw environments.

Handmade Characteristics

Handmade cement breeze blocks may show natural differences in color, texture, edges, surface appearance and dimensions. Inspect and blend units from multiple boxes before installation, and dry-lay the selected pattern. Nominal dimensions for the Pacific Breeze Block collection are 19 × 19 × 6.5 cm (approximately 7.5" × 7.5" × 2.56"); verify the individual product listing and actual lot.

Representative compressive-strength and water-absorption testing was conducted on pattern BB11. According to the manufacturer, the same material and production process are used across patterns. Individual patterns have not been independently tested; sample results do not establish the structural suitability of an installed wall.

Installation & Care

Use a qualified installer working from an approved project-specific support and reinforcement design. Manufacturer-provided drawings are illustrative only, not engineered details. Before setting, briefly dip blocks in clean water so they are damp but not dripping. A typical finished joint is approximately 8–10 mm, subject to the approved design. Have the project designer select a compatible locally available mortar; mortar strength designations 50 and 75 correspond to approximately 5 and 7.5 MPa and do not by themselves identify a U.S. mortar type.

Blocks are supplied with a protective coating. For long-term exterior durability, compatible exterior paint or an additional water-repellent sealer is recommended. Allow the installed wall to dry completely before applying either treatment; drying may take approximately 10–30 days depending on weather and actual moisture conditions. Confirm compatibility with the existing coating, test on a spare unit and follow the coating manufacturer's directions. Clean with a soft brush and a mild, compatible non-acidic cleaner; avoid aggressive pressure washing and abrasive or acidic products.
