About Our Brass Inlay Cement Tiles
Our Pacific Brass Collection combines traditional handmade cement tile with decorative brass inlay to create distinctive patterns and architectural surfaces. The brass detailing is embedded flush with the cement tile surface and secured with anchoring legs extending into the tile body. Each tile brings together the rich color of pigmented cement and the metallic character of brass.
Custom Patterns & Colors
Brass detailing can be incorporated into many of our Pacific cement tile patterns. Choose from existing designs or inquire about custom colors and configurations for your project. Select Brass Inlay tiles are available from stock, while additional designs may be produced by special order. Custom orders are subject to minimum quantities and production lead times.
Where Can Brass Inlay Tiles Be Used?
Brass Inlay cement tiles are primarily intended for decorative interior applications, including feature walls, backsplashes, and other architectural accents. Selected interior floor applications may be considered based on expected traffic, wear, and maintenance requirements. Heavy-traffic floors, showers, exterior installations, and other demanding environments are not recommended without product-specific technical approval. Always review the individual product's application guidance before specifying.
Natural Brass Patina & Maintenance
The brass inlay is uncoated and may naturally oxidize or develop a patina over time. This is an expected material characteristic. Clean Brass Inlay tiles with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner suitable for both cement and brass. Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive products, and aggressive metal polishing. Contact Cement Tile Shop before attempting to remove oxidation or refinish installed tiles, as improper treatment may damage the surrounding cement or sealer.
Installation & Technical Resources
Professional installation is recommended. Proper substrate preparation, compatible setting materials, sealing, and maintenance are important for preserving the appearance and performance of handmade brass inlay cement tile.
