Handmade Characteristics
Handmade cement terrazzo tile contains decorative aggregate chips in a cementitious matrix. Natural variation in chip distribution, tone, texture and dimensions is characteristic of this material. Inspect and blend tiles from multiple boxes prior to installation.
Plan additional material for cuts, visual selection and future repairs. Avoid aggressive grinding or polishing without suitable product-specific guidance. Individual product specifications for dimensions, thickness, box quantity, coverage and custom ordering are provided above.
Installation & Care
Use an installer experienced with handmade cement terrazzo tile. Confirm a sound substrate and appropriate waterproofing for wet areas. Follow the setting, grout, protection and sealer manufacturers' directions and applicable local codes.
Use a compatible penetrating sealer and mild, pH-neutral cleaners suitable for cement terrazzo and its decorative aggregates. Avoid acidic products, harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning or refinishing methods. Cleaning and resealing requirements depend on use and exposure.
